Blue Badge Sat Nav’s are designed with disabled drivers/passengers principally in mind. Although they operate in the same way as normal Sat Nav’s, they have the added function of pointing out disabled parking places, disabled-accessible car parks and local council Blue Badge parking concessions. There has been an on-going effort to build up an exhaustive database of Blue Badge parking spaces and concessions to assist the Sat Nav experience of disabled drivers.
